This picture is an example of parasitism, dandelion weeds in a garden. These weeds are parasites because they take away the food, such as sunlight and water, from the plant (considered the host) struggling to survive.

Biotic Picture

This is a tree, a biotic limiting factor in front of my house. This tree is alive, making it biotic. If this tree was to ever cut down for human reasons, the animals living in the tree could lose their home. The food the tree produces that many animals rely on will be gone. It helps create oxygen for mammals, and also limits sunlight.
